Jg Ballard - High Rise (1975) Review
Ballard's High Rise is a bleak novel critisising the so called 'civilised' world of the well educated and wealthy as well as the luxuries afforded to them by technology. It documents how the decay of the building mirrors that of the social order of the residents, inevitably turning into an urban wasteland for its barbaric and primitive inhabitants.
